Hello, my name is Romane Lainé, and I am a French Master’s student in Marketing, Communication, and Culture at IAE Lille. I have a strong academic and practical foundation in marketing, gained through experiences such as my Bachelor’s exchange semester at Baruch College in New York, where I deepened my knowledge in entertainment marketing, advertising, and branding. This semester not only expanded my technical skills but also enhanced my adaptability, autonomy, and cultural awareness. I've had the opportunity to intern in the marketing department of an agro-food company, where I developed B2B and B2C marketing skills, as well as in the sports industry with JL Bourg. These roles allowed me to explore social media management, project development, and consumer engagement, which are essential to effective marketing strategies. My professional ambition is to work internationally in marketing and communication within the cultural sector. I am particularly inspired by the idea of promoting French culture abroad, contributing to the global appreciation of its diverse arts, traditions, and innovations. Through my career, I aim to foster cultural exchange and introduce international audiences to the richness of French culture. This aligns with my passion for working in diverse environments and using my skills to build connections between France and the world in various cultural fields. Through my internships, I aim to learn as much as possible, especially about film distribution, and develop skills that will help me thrive in this dynamic and culturally rich field.
